Founder’s Story

Recovery Threads began over 12 years ago during a turning point in my life. While in an all-women’s inpatient treatment center, volunteers came in and taught us how to crochet. Those first stitches became more than a craft — they became a lifeline, a creative outlet, and the beginning of a new chapter.

Over time, crochet grew into a way to heal, connect, and create pieces that carry meaning. The name Recovery Threads reflects that journey — each thread a reminder of resilience, each loop a small act of rebuilding.

Today, I design and handcraft every item with the same intention I felt in those first moments: to create beauty, share hope, and inspire connection.
